The Haebler Team Haebler is a long-term employer, with a preference for developing a close-knit team by fostering and maintaining skills in our areas of focus. Many members of Haebler have been with the company for more than 25 years. Roland Haebler - President Roland oversees all aspects of the company's operations and takes a hands-on approach to dealing with all customer projects. Roland has over fifteen years of experience in the construction industry, and is the author of numerous papers on construction techniques. Roland has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) and a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) from the Technical University of Nova Scotia, and a Diploma in Engineering from Dalhousie University. Hans Haebler - Partner, Past President Hans founded Haebler Construction in 1959 and was active in all operations of the company through 2002, during which period he was largely responsible for establishing Haebler's legacy for quality and value. Hans is known in the industry for his perfectionism and integrity. Peter Bazilewich - Sr. Project Manager Peter has been with Haebler since 1977 and is responsible for managing all Haebler's large projects. Peter holds a Civil Engineering Technology Diploma (A. Sc. T.) and is a Gold Seal Certified project manager. Savva Hatzisavva - Project Manager, Estimator Savva joined the company January of 2002, and is responsible for major estimating and project management. Savva has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from BCIT, and is in the process of completing a Bachelor of Technology in Construction Management from the same institution. Art Lehwald - Sr. Site Superintendant Art is a Journeyman Carpenter and brings over 20 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent to bear on Haebler projects. Art has been the superintendent on many of Haebler most successful projects. Art has been with Haebler since 1996. Tom Hofmann - Site Superintendant Tom is a Journeyman Carpenter and specializes in leading our high-end home division. He holds a Graduate BA from U.B.C and has taken numerous courses related to the construction industry. Tom completed his apprenticeship with Haebler and joined the firm in 1994. Greg Kraemer - Carpenter Foreman, Jr. Superintendant Greg is a Journeyman Carpenter and has been our lead finishing superintendent and looks after our building envelope projects. He has been instrumental in helping us complete many key projects. Greg joined Haebler in 1991 and completed his apprenticeship with us in 1995. Suzanne Bailuk - Controller, Office Manager Suzanne is responsible for all accounting and personnel management at Haebler. She has over 11 years of experience in construction accounting. Suzanne has completed year 1 & 2 of the Gold Seal Project Management course, and has taken numerous Financial Management courses at B.C.I.T. and through the C.G.A. Suzanne joined the company in March 2002. Faye MacLellan - Receptionist, Office Coordinator Faye is the happy voice at the end of the line when you call Haebler and is responsible for keeping the office running smoothly. She is also responsible for the coordination of information transfer, coordinates drawing distribution during tendering, and is point of contact for many trades. Faye has over 30 years of office coordination experience in the construction industry. Faye has been with Haebler since 1995. Garnet Schneider – Project Manager Has over 25 years project management experience, has completed five gold seal courses, joined Haebler in 2003.
